If you have cool digital photos, you may be able to make a little extra cash by selling them online. For this you need to be image owner and you need to choose good stock agencies for selling your images. You can choose more than one stock agencies. This won’t make you rich beyond your wildest imaginations, but it can nicely supplement your income. Usually you only get to keep 20% or more of the proceeds when signing a contract, but realize how much time you will sell your image and how much money these companies are spending in advertisements. Before contacting an agency, first get a feel of what types of photos they sell. Also, make sure your photos are in the correct format, both resolution and image format (TIF, JPG, etc.). Evo ispunjavam obećanje koje sam dao prije par dana i objavljujem seminarski rad kojeg sam radio zajedno sa prijateljima. Naime kako sam i rekao radi se o ALIPR-u. To je skraćenica od Automatsko lingvističko indeksiranje slika u realnom vremenu. Sam projekat je jako mlad i zaživio je tek u Oktobru 2006. godine. Zasnovan je na prethodnim radovima profesora Jia Li i James Z. Wang sa univerzirteta Stanford.

Za one koji ne žele puno da čitaju napomenuću da je sam sistem vrlo interesantan. Ideja je da se slike učine vidljivima za moderne pretraživače ali bez asistencije čovjeka. Do sada je bilo potrebno svaki sliku postavljenu na internet i opisati, unijeti ključne riječi i onda sačekati da pretraživač indeksira sve to. ALIPR sam generiše ključne riječi na osnovu modela koji su dobijeni treniranjem sistema preko kategorisanih slika. Oko 600 različitih kategorija je upotrebljeno za treniranje samog sistema pri čemu je svaka kategorija brojala preko 40 različitih slika. Sve kategorije su ručno opisane preko određenog broja ključnih riječi ali tako da se sa njima mogu opisati gotovo sve slike unutar jedne kategorije. Time se kreira model koji se kasnije upotrebljava pri analizi drugih slika.
Sistem pri testiranju generiše 15 ključnih riječi pri čemu je prva riječ u preko 50% slučajeva ispravno generisana tj poklapa se sa testnom slikom.

Da ja ne pišem više postavio sam pdf fajlove pa ko voli da čita neka izvoli. Inače dokumentacija je puna matematike i po meni ko je ne voli neka zaobiđe Jedino treći dio ima praktičnih testova koje smo radili na uzorku od 50 slika i dobijeni su približni rezultati kao i pri testovima od strane autora.

I don’t know about you guys but I like holidays. I live in Republic of Srpska where almost whole January is in non working days. This doesn’t have anything with todays article but I need to say something before it.

U ovom postu ću samo da nagovijestim nekoliko tekstova o jednom vrlo zanimljivom projektu. Naime, radi se o automatskom lingvističkom indeksiranju slika. Vjerujem da je sada 90% posjetilaca otišlo sa sajta ali za one koji nisu da kažem kako je to vrlo fina stvar.
