52 Megapixels CMOS from Canon
Canon unveils a 52 Megapixels CMOS prototype sensor at the size of 31.6 x 23.1 mm (APS-H). This sensor could be easily adapted into current DSLR cameras. However, according to Canon Q&A article we received, Canon says “We have still yet to determine how this sensor might be usedâ€. (Read the article)




Pentax launched two days ago a special limited edition of Pentax K10D digital SLR package commemorating the winning of the Camera Grand Prix 2007 Award in Japan. K10D GP package includes Pentax K10D camera itself finished in a dark-brown rubber, D-BG2 battery grip and a special leather camera strap. All the logos on camera, battery grip and strap are in gold color signifying the limited-edition status. The latest firmware (Ver.1.30), corresponding to SDM system, has been installed in the camera.
