Camera armor products

ArmorlogoThe world is a rough place for cameras, with all sorts of jagged nasties waiting to their toll on your beautifully finished pride and joy. Camera Armor – a close fitting stay-on glove for your SLR – is the solution. Graeme Esarey, General Manager of Made Products, Inc. announced the launch of 4 new Camera Armor products, extending their patent pending elastomeric protection to Nikon’s popular D80 and D200 models, as well as Canon’s Rebel XTI (or EOS 400D, as it is known internationally) and the higher end EOS 5D.

Camera Armor products feature highly engineered silicone cases for digital SLR cameras that keep cameras fully protected and instantly ready for action, with access to all features of the camera right out of the case. The product line currently provides protection for 6 of the most popular SLR models on the market today, with the previously released 30D and D70s models already shipping to 19 countries around the world.

Armor

“The unique thing about Camera Armor is the fact that it protects your camera wherever you go, regardless of what you are doing. You put it on, and leave it on, so no matter what bumps life throws at you, your camera is protected” says Graeme. “Unlike other cases, you don’t sacrifice much in the way of function. I can still change a memory card with one hand, the battery with the other, and be ready for the next shot. But my camera is protected the whole time.”

Camera Armor products come with the “Body Armor”; an LCD shield made from polycarbonate that protects the screen from impact and abrasion; and the Lens Armor, a rugged protective ring that stretches to fit most common lenses. The Lens armor doubles as a sun hood, and can be rolled out of the way for wide angle shot. It even comes with a handy lens cap leash that attaches your lens cap to the lens armor with a silicone tab.

Armor

Made from shock absorbing, flexible silicon-rubber, there are different Camera Armors for specific camera models, ensuring the best possible fit and protection while continuing to allow full access to all buttons, cable ports and battery/memory compartments. Each suit of Armor comes complete with a strong polycarbonate LCD shield for extra protection for vulnerable screens. Also included is Lens Armor, a flexible rubber hood offering protection for lenses. Combined with the Lens Cap Leash also supplied, you’ll never lose a lens cap again!

Available now for Nikon D70s, and Canon EOS 30D, and soon for Nikon D200, D80, Canon EOS 5D and 400D, Camera Armor has an SRP of £49.95, but is available on an introductory offer of £39.95 while stocks last.
