Pentax announcements - K20D and K200D

k10dIn next couple days (24.1.2008.), Pentax will announce their new models K20D and K200D. According to rumors, K20D will have next specifications:

  • Pentax Proprietary 14MP CMOS Sensor (their own image sensor made together with Samsung)
  • 14 bit RAW A/D Processor
  • 3″ Live View LCD
  • Improved In-Body Shake Reduction
  • Body Design Similar to K10D (larger display, live view, etc)
  • Significant Custom Functions (including AF trimming/programming for different lenses)

After more then four years, Olympus has decided to add a new DSLR member in their premium segment. The new E-3 looks to be a significant step forward for the company in pretty much every respect.
