In this article, I will try to explain and present Featurepics collections.

Main idea is to sell all similar images packed in one collection. You can make collection discount so it will be attractive to potential buyers. In addition, the purpose of “Collections” is to create your selections that are not already covered by Featurepics categories.

First you should know is that description content and price (discount) should be clear and attractive for potential buyers. The Collections should create a “New subject” on Featurepics site and present your “Selective” Images. In addition, very important is that you need at least 16 images to make collection.
Your collections will be a sample of your best work, so be selective. These collections will be published and sent out all over the Internet, and your best images should be placed forward.

Here are basic instructions for creating Collections.

Before you start, please be sure that you have at least 16 similar images in your gallery.
After you login on Featurepics, go to “My Collections” where you can create new collection or find already created collections. I suppose that you do not have already created collections so I guess you will se the blank page.

Click on “New Collection” (link is located in right-top corner).

Then you need to fill out the description, collection name, Meta tags (page title, description and keywords). Your primary keywords should occur early in your page title and description should be a sentence to a paragraph long.

After you finish with this, press Submit. When you click the “Submit” button, you will see a new collection in your Collections in Progress list. Now you need to add images because created collection is empty.
Go to My images/Published images and select an image you want to add to collection. Find “Add to Collection” on the bottom of the screen and then add the image to the collection. Continue to add your Published Images to your Collection. Remember that you need at least 16 images to make collection.

Now you need to publish your collection.
Go to My Collections/Collections in Progress and click on the collection. It looks like image shown bellow.

Click on it and select Headline photo for collection. After you select headline image and set Collection Discount, check again your images (under Images tab) and click on Submit for review. Collection discount should be clear and attractive for potential buyers.
