Pentax K-5

Few days ago we had a chance to read a very nice news from Pentax (Here and HERE). Today Pentax has announced the latest member of its DSLR line-up, the K-5. It is based on the their current flagship DSLR, the K-7. It has almost identical body and control layout except the K-5 comes with a new 16.3 megapixel CMOS sensor. Also, K-5 has faster continuous shooting and a very high maximum sensitivity of ISO 51200. No this is not an error. It is the highest value available for APS-C cameras so far.

Royalty rates will no longer be associated to your lifetime download totals, represented by the canister icons. Canisters will now be separate from royalty rates and continue to reflect total lifetime downloads (but they will no longer indicate royalty rates).
